SoHo, New York

Set within a historic cast iron building in SoHo, this full floor loft underwent a complete gut renovation to create a warm, sophisticated New York home that celebrates the character of its architectural setting. Maneli Wilson Interiors was involved in every aspect of the design, developing the interiors from initial concept and space planning through the design of the kitchen, bathrooms and architectural elements, as well as lighting, finishes, bespoke furnishings, art and accessories, procurement and final installation.

The design balances the building’s industrial history with refined materials, sculptural forms and a richly layered palette. A new limestone fireplace anchors the living space, while carefully considered lighting and a combination of contemporary and collected furnishings bring warmth and individuality to the expansive loft. Colour plays an important role throughout, with each room developing its own identity while remaining connected to the broader language of the home.
